How to Have a Fun and Safe Halloween without Saying Boo COVID-19

The one day when everyone can get behind wearing a mask is Halloween. In the year we saved Halloween, which could be the title of the next Tim Burton film but our current reality, we’re planning a fun and healthy holiday that follows safe COVID-19 guidelines.

While your Halloween costume cannot replicate an actual face mask as a precautionary safety measure from the coronavirus, riding a bike solo is a great way to dress up and be seen.

Halloween is on a Saturday this year, which opens up the possibilities for a full day of celebrating. Consult with neighbors to plan a socially distanced block party. Create a haunted house in the backyard. Dress up and ride bikes throughout town–all activities can be worthy competitors over trekking up pathways to demand for candy.

While candy is always appreciated by trick-or-treaters, healthier options like fruit roll ups and cereal bars are just as enticing. Be sure to give via a touch-free exchange.
