Tanney used his experience from building high-end loft spaces in Manhattan to help develop a system of design called the Modern Modular. The majority of the Modern Modular home is built offsite and then delivered in modules, like big Legos, which is less of a strain on the local ecosystem.

The new luxury prefab is one part organic and another part futuristic. “There is a strong sense of arrival, a smart transition from the automobile into house,” says Tanney. Organic symmetry happens between the interior and exterior from its use of glass, wood and earthy elements. “There is a well designed exterior space, decks, terraces and outdoor fireplaces,” says Tanney.
